iPhone 4 maps application

today i tried to drop a pin on the location that i was in on the Maps app on the iphone, this was so that i could add the location to a contact and set a reminder for when i get there. however when i dropped the pin it did not come up with the street or anything under the address it just says GP, South Africa. this is a problem because when you select the address it takes me the another place. I updated to iOS 5 this morning, are there any of you that have the same problem? Thanks

Yes the problem has been confirmed by us at iPhoneZA.. My guess is there will be a iOS5.0.1 shortly.

Suspecting the same thing. Want to get some confirmation from international guys too. I have submitted an bug report with Apple so lets see what they say

I've got the same issue, in Cape Town. However I tested a random street in New York and it worked fine.

Seems to be localised.

Reported to Apple. No word from them as of yet so I assume it's a real bug..
