I have been using IPhone 4 for the past year or so and noticed that i get missed calls when it switches
between 3G and EDGE (Vodacom). I have checked the coverage map of Vodacom and there is no
proper 3G signal where i work.

So before posting this i have tested the scenario by switching off 3G and leaving the cellular data on;
I have been monitoring my phone and have seen a sudden drop in the EDGE signal too and using
land line I phoned my ipone..."not available".:mad:..now i turned off both 3G and Cellular data
and my phone works fine :(...

Has any one noticed this before. I know its bit late to post this message as the NEW IPHONE
being launched 4th of Oct.

Regards

The Iphone is known for BAD signal.The antenae is on the frame of the phone and if held tightly or in the wrong way.You will loose signal.Thats the reason you probably got a bumper cover which covers around your found.

Hope the new iphone 5 dont have this problem
