iPhone 4 Personal Hotspot (Vodacom)

Hi,

I have just moved into my new house and so I prob won't have internet for a while... So I was wondering if I could use the personal hotspot function to connect my iPad and the wife's laptop etc? I see in the menu it mentions that extra costs may apply... Due to swapping over to the tethering APN. Does anyone have experience with this or know the extra costs if any?

It will use yr normal data bundle bundle for your phone till its complete and then the out of bundle shark shes gonna get ya and she's got a big bite nom nom. Was R2 a mb a while ago may have come down not sure.

No additional charge to use tethering on your iphone, just normal data billing in accordance with your contract and any active bundles. Another option will be to get a data sim for R10 per month and use this in a Mifi device available from Istores.
