Not really? All that does is show you how to preserve your baseband so as to not lose your previous unlock.

Also that site doesn't seem too great. Language is bad and the name "geohot.us" tells me they are trying to impersonate the real George Hotz iPhone hacker that goes by the same alias.

The new baseband is 3.10.01 and as of yet, there is no unlock for this baseband.

If you are on a previous firmware and unlocked, then use TinyUmbrella to preserve your old unlocked baseband, which allows you to upgrade your firmware, while keeping your unlock.
