iPhone 5 already January 2011?

I don't think so. iPhone 5 will come out July 2011, just like all the other iPhones, 1 year after the last.
 
Can't see this happening. 6 months between releases? Highly unlikely...
 
Unlikely, a antenna revision for the 4 might be in the works though.
 
An updated iPhone 4 is in the works for early 2011 but it may not be called "5". Apple will more than likely use the old Nokia "we fixed our crap so we now add the "ï" to the number" ... iPhone 4"i" or Apple's own similar trick using an "s" ... iPhone 4S.

I waited - like many others - for the Nokia E90i to come out with all the fixes that Nokia owed us ... but it never came ... so I gave up on Nokia.

If you follow the rumours and conjecture (see daringfireball.net), January will be a new iPhone but it is likely to be the CDMA version for Verizon. I would expect that there would be a redesigned/modified antenna on that phone.

Perhaps there will be an update to the GSM one with revised antenna at that time. I doubt that it will be designated as iPhone 5 though. There are usually only new names/models when there are significantly more new features - and an antenna fix is probably not enough for that.
