I have read quite a few forums on this topic but can't seem to find a solution. I have had my phone for at least 6 months now so this is a "newish" problem. A freshly started phone, 3G works perfect. If I roam to a wireless connection, it fails over perfectly but not back.

Even if I turn WIFI off, no 3G, no Edge. Only a reboot fixes the issue till next time. Oddly if I only leave 3G on, it seems to stay up until I lose 3G signal and never returns until I reboot. I am running the latest IOS, any ideas?

I don't get the No Service issue, I have full Vodacom signal but no 3G/Edge. I have tried all of the turn airplane mode on/off, turned off cellular, etc etc etc.

PS: I have rebooted my phone a few times with LTE turned off.

Take the phone in to vodacom or whoever the warranty is held with

Just a quick update, since I have both the 4 and 5 in a master slave setup, I decided to use my 4 for a few days until I found a fix. Turns out that my 4 has exactly the same symptoms. Both phones side by side, freshly rebooted, 3G/WIFI switching works perfectly. About 4 hours down the road turned off WIFI on the 4, no 3G. Checked the 5, exactly the same issue.

More investigation to follow....

PS: for those whom don't know, you can have a single number connected to a mini sim and an ultra sim card with both phones operational as long as one is switched off, well you can leave them both on but only one phone will ring if called.

Boss' Iphone was next to my two phones, he had full coverage.

Happens in all different areas
