I Need some direction. My Cellc contract ends in December , and just wondering if it's possible to get lte on prepaid for an iPhone 5. If any networks support this ?

Thanks

Vodacom support LTE on prepaid on the iPhone 5. You will however need to phone them on 155 and ask them to activate the service, then specifically ask them to sync the sim. The call center will know what this means.

Edit : check out https://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/ for a list of compatible models. Your iPhone 5 will need to be a Model A1429.

I got "4G" on my iphone 5 on Vodacom without calling anyone, but maybe they activated it without saying?

Yeah, to my understanding MTN is the only network you actually have to activate it on. And you need a 128k simcard.
