iPhone 6s Program for Unexpected Shutdown Issues

My battery is affected, but I haven't experienced the problem. So not sure what to do. Wait a couple of more months and get free battery replacement?

I plan to wait also and then get a new battery which should be good for another two years.

My phone doesn't last me a full day, but with a quick charge in the afternoon its not a problem.

Same here. Took mine into iStore, they said they need to send it away for 6-8 days for repair. Will most likely do it next year when I am in the US, might be faster :)

Do they really replace the battery? More likely to swap out the phone with a refurbished unit.

I wonder if this will be extended to 6S Plus

So interestingly enough my phone has started showing this problem. Gets to about 53% battery and just shuts down. If you try and power it on you get the charge symbol. Plug then power in phone comes on and it's over 50% charged.

Mine too, apparently my serial number doesn't qualify for this program, bloody annoying

Also in the US next year and plan on heading to the Genius bar for immediate repair.

In this day and age - Core/iStore is showing how completely and utterly fokken useless they are requiring 6-8 days for a simple repair.

Who can afford to be without their smartphone for that long ?

Pathetic. Not that they (apple)care.

Where else can you go?
Core can do what they want, and are.

My beloved phone also suffered from the same issue and it caused havoc during our Europe holiday early in December. I booked it in at the iStore on the 23rd of December and received an confirmation email earlier today informing me that I'm receiving a new (as such hopefully not refurbished) unit under warranty - faith restored in Apple.

Damn, wifes iPhone 6s showing same issues and qualifies for replacement BUT we nowhere neat an iStore.

Best place to replace battery myself?
