iPhone 6s

Well those are statistics he brought along. I am sure you have an uncle that has a brother who knows a guy that has a hot dog stand outside Foxconn, but no one really cares.

You are pretty much all talk with nothing to support it.

Perceptive is what I like to call it.

Basically sums up android trolls who just have to have their say in an iPhone thread

I actually own a lot of devices from Apple, Samsung, Hauwei, Google and Microsoft. You have to be really stupid to think that I'm being a troll with my last few replies, but then I saw your username and everything made sense.

Okay so I currently use a Note 4. No issues with it and it runs well.

I ended my contract with MTN for the sim, but the phone is still being paid off with FNB. 9 months to go, so I can probably sell it for more than what I owe.

I'd like to move over to iOS for a change as I've had android for 4 years now and a change is nice.

MTN spam the **** out of me with SMSes, so I'm happy to get a contract with the best provider available.

Should I wait for the 7 Plus or get the 6s Plus now?

Wait for the 7

Normally in the last quarter or the year. I think if you got the 6s now you'd kick yourself because it's around mid point between the last release and the new release, but that's my 2 cents...

Depends. If you want a smaller phone then the 5se (or whatever) will be out next month. The iPhone 7 will be out in September.
If you need a phone now, then get one. If not, then wait.

By the time it reaches South Africa and there is actually stock available, it's October, November already.

Get one now.

If you need a headphone jack, then get now.

Rumours are that the headphone jack will be cut from the iPhone 7.

If that is at all a consideration for you.

There will always be a converter, so it's no big deal.

lol, buy a R12,000 phone without a headphone jack and then spend another R1000 to get one. lol.
I do love the whole wireless headphone idea, but sheesh talk about locking in your customers even more... my poor sennheisers will be useless, even though apple would probably say theirs are better.

It's all about portability with your phone and buds are practical and easy. No jack changes that unless there's a set of wireless buds included with the phone in the box.

My headphones are Bluetooth Sennheisers, but I keep my (also Sennheiser) buds on me and use them far more with my iPhone.

So those included buds would have to be pretty decent to keep me on board.

Well that was my point, they won't be as you could still use them if you chose to do so.

It won't be forced on you, the choice would be yours to use your "old" stuff.

Look at the Lightning port and the plethora of new tech it brought to the table. Now just think how a truly digital end to end headphone jack would benefit us without the need for DAC etc.

In fact I would be very surprised if there is an additional jack and all and they don't simply use the Lightning port directly and drop the 3.5mm one.

Very much looking forward to how Apple revolutionises the way we listen to/use audio with iPhone/iDevices.

It was a general comment, what makes you think the comment was aimed at you?

Or do you just have a slightly guilty conscience?
