Hi Poffle

Touch and hold any icon. It goes into a state where you can reorder icons. It does fill from top to bottom though. Also try to use reachability. Just double tap the home button on the plus and the whole top portion of the screen will be dragged down for you to easily reach. I enjoy a bigger screen for reading, videos, pics, etc.

Yeah i tried the reachability thing but its still annoying to double table to bring it down then stretch to go back with the left button.
The phone is just physically to big and heavy for easy use for me.

Icon thing, i want my camera in the bottom left, not in the tray but it wont go there lol might need a 3rd party app for that.

Hoping to get my 8+ this week. Can't be more excited. It's the first time I've gotten the newest up to date iPhone...although I have a feeling the X is gonna make it look quite sad in a couple of months time.

I'm happy to get the iPhone 8+. I might be able to wrangle another upgrade to the X later in line when my other contract matures, but in the meanwhile my 6s+ battery is giving in and I don't want to have to wait for a phone that's gonna already be supply constrained when it eventually arrives here.

I disagree, face ID will be a big improvement over Touch ID if it works as well as they claim. I constantly get misses on the fingerprint match.

The only thing I agree with in this statement is to get the iPhone 8 if you want TouchID because I’m confident that as of next year, all iPhones will drop TouchID in favor of FaceID.

TouchID will be gone forever. Forget fingerprint under display. Apple scrapped that idea and will not be pursuing it any further. The future is FaceID.

I hope Apple will do both faceid and touchid under the screen in the future. Then we all will be happy. I don't want to always look at the phone if I want to unlock it. Picture this while driving and phone is in a cradle, lollolololol

Pre-ordered my #iPhone8Plus 256 silver and got it delivered by @MyiStoreSA at 11:30 on Friday 20 Oct 2017. Unboxing was so exiting! What an awesome phone! I've converted from Samsung Galaxy S8 to iPhone8+ and will never go back! Will strongly recommend it! Don't wait for iphone X. Tech is too new and not matured

Yeah it’s not surprise you would love it coming from a Samsung.

But for someone who already is used to the iPhone wonder it’s a bit long in the tooth and therefore the yearning for the X I reckon.

I was thinking i should try iOS to see if i should make a move to the iPhone X.

Got my wifes iPhone6S+ out, set it up, ya fine, few annoyances like you cant arrange your icons where you want? it just auto arranges to the end....
No back button at the bottom of the phone or on the screen. that is not good on this sized phone, i can hardly reach the middle of the screen with 1 hand.

I then came to the conclusion that:
That iPhone+ is one of the worst sized phones i've ever used. I can land an aeroplane on those bezels, its fken huge, its heavy, my hand started cramping after using it for 10 mintues. Played with it for 20 minutes in total and went back to my S7 Edge, i have no interest in that thing purely due to its size.

At least the X will be more managable.

It’s not meant to be a one handed phone.

Back button is a software button top left. And there is the triple tap thing to pull the screen down.

It’s funny though I find the normal 6/7/8 size to the awkward because it’s not really a one hand phone and not really a two handed phone either.

So I want to go for the Plus purely because it’s two hands or nothing.

But then I haven’t lived with one for any serious length of time. To me it would just extend my need for a new iPad a little longer until the Pro gets Face ID as well.

Bezels have never bothered me.
