iPhone 8 & iPhone X Thread

In the US all iphone X are now 1-2 week shipments.

So there is plenty of stock to go around.

Yeah none of the service providers have given any contract details.

1. Either they waiting for who will publish first and then try and beat their offer
2. They dont have the phone come 24 Nov
3. They just too slow in working out the contracts

Funny you say that. I've been calling Cell C sales department daily this week, and on Wednesday one agent used the word "tentatively" about the X releasing on the 24th. Maybe this unsureness is what lead the iStore facebook page to change their cover from "Coming 24 Nov" to "Coming Soon".

telkom have already deducted my first instalment even though I did not get the phone yet, nor did they confirm a delivery date with me

Guessing it was an error, checked the same links for the X I saw yesterday after your post and they don't exist now and it just redirects you back to the main home page now.
 
This some sort of joke or what. Told I'll get a call on Monday and contract pricing will be released on Monday . Said what's the point of a preorder. Also interesting is the comment about when they will receive stock.

Don't say you launching 24 Nov if you don't intend launching 24 Nov.

I told a lady at my local MTN store to keep one for me. Hopefully she does. She also told me that they will get prices on Thursday but when i phoned again she said she will only know on Friday. Hoping prices are somewhat close to Telkom Mobile
