Vodacom kept timing out and crashing ... And I left for home. They said they will continue with the contract. Then I went into the store and they told me I got declined ... Which is impossible lol. Guy also that did my contract was a newbie ... Guaranteed he input wrong amounts ... I got frustrated and knowing this was the only phone I bought it

Stock levels were ridiculous . To have one 64 GB in silver and then another in black was just plain absurdity for an istore. So those handful of people that were lucky got the icare plus for free.

Backed up my iPhone 7 plus with 128gb. Restored onto the iPhone x 64gb and I have 40gb free. Unless you not doing lots of 4k video 64gb is all one needs
 
Went to vodashop cresta this am... took about 30 min and walked out with a black 256 x.

Very happy sofar. Swipe gestures feels awesome

So there was a 10 year iPhone party at the store which started at 19:00 and then the X was launched at midnight. Absolute limited quantities so random names where pulled and phones where allocated, upgrades and cash deals ...store closed around 02:00 this morning.

Good luck if your on MTN as they have zero stock.

How do you terminate/close an app when you have all the cards up?

Swipe up just minimizes it.

Cool update from Apple so far

My case only comes on Monday. Nervous

Swipe up to close or keep pressed on card to bring up the red tag to close

They had a real cool display of every single iPhone from the very first iPhone 3 from 2007 till the current 7 and 7 plus which had the stop watch counter going on till the release of the X at midnight,

Absolute limited quantities so random names where pulled and phones where allocated, upgrades and cash deals ... there was also a raffle that took place R200 per ticket and you could have won your self a iPhone X, the store closed around 02:00 this morning.

Over all awesome vibe, drinks, food, music loads of celebs and media personalities.

Had a blast.

Yes had the invite but was too sick to go. Did they not give away a free iPhone ? The raffle

Honestly, it was so noisy and packed can’t really confirm, but I’m sure people did purchase tickets for the raffle

Wel face id haven't failed once. Even in direct sunlight.

Only annoying thing is apps that haven't been updated to full screen.

The fact that I don't know face id is there working in the background is amazing. Non intrusive and it just simply works... Well so far

The notch ... Watching clips or movies it is annoying. The notch with everything else you do forget it's there.

Coming from a plus iPhone. You do kind of notice the physical size and initially feel somewhat cheated ... But start using it and all is forgotten. The screen real estate does make up for it and that screen is pure perfection. I for one was never a fan of overly bright oversaturated displays and always calibrated my monitors or tvs to be pq perfect. I'm quite happy this screen is exactly that

So far I'm impressed. Is it r20k plus worth ? ... Eish no ... Still think it's mighty expensive
