Nope. There is a belkin 5w on istore but apparently this is not the one to buy for the 8 and X

There is a newer belkin 7.5w as well as a mophie but can't find them on local online stores.

Ok, let me know if you're keen on importing. Problem is just I'd rather order from the UK than Us, but I don't have a freight-forwarding service from there.
 
Just chill and wait for 11.2 to drop first to see what 3rd party chargers support the 7.5W power.
 
So basically every single MTN and Vodacom i called does not have stock. They also say they haven't been given dates as to when they will have them. One store said 2 weeks and that was it.

Can anyone help us :D still waiting stock on my MTN contract upgrade done on Friday at 7AM, sure not having stock is bad, but knowing when it will be coming is even worse :cry:

Have you tried online/calling upgrades department? I did an online upgrade on Black Friday. They called yesterday to let me know that the upgrades department would call me back, and when they didn't, I called over lunch. Spoke with a friendly lady, went to check stock for me and ran through the different packages for me until I was settled. Got a message from the courier today to say they've received my stock and will call tomorrow to arrange drop-off. Silver 256 gig.

Unfortunately i already placed my order at the MTN store. Do you think they will still be able to allocate stock from the online department for me? i am looking for the same 256gb
 
I would call the upgrades department and find out. 808. You've got nothing to lose, and you just might get lucky. Have they confirmed your upgrade yet - I.e. New data and minutes etc.? I got an sms minutes after my call confirming my upgrade, and date of future upgrade.

I got a call saying my upgrade was approved. I shall give it a try though.

I just walked into the store at Sandton city and they had stock. Albeit 4 phones. So reserved a 64gb on their freeme 20gb package.

Contract approved. Just need to get them my ID and stamped bank statements.

I was told they all sold out now ...
