Yeah would be interesting to know if anyone that ordered this way got delivery yet and if so date and time of their order.

I never received a call.
Eventually went to my local shop and they sourced one for me.

After completing the pre-order process I never heard from Vodacom - actually currently still awaiting their official feedback other than the the pre-order confirmation email.

I walked into the Vodacom 4U shop at vodaworld 5min before closing time on the 24th of walked out with my iPhone X and awesome Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones that was bundled with it - it was their 3rd last X and clearly a "meant to be" upgrade for me! :)

Yeah I am also meant to get the Beats headphones and 20GB data because I ordered on 24 Nov.

Was your 20GB data allocated straight away or only 1 Dec?
If allocated when does it say it expires?

How and where did you order/upgrade and on which date?
That may have only been a Black Friday (24 Nov) special from Vodacom and maybe only for online orders or at Voda World.

I would try calling Vodacom.

Btw what covers are you people using with your phone? I've been always using the apple leather covers as I feel they compliment the design of the phone. But curious as to other options

Saw the video for this ... That sticker to hold the phone ... while they assure the phone won't fall my ocd will test this and I'd always be stressing it might. :) Lovely case though. What did it cost landed ?

My wife wanted a cheapo case with tinsels in it ... Lol. Told her it be a shame to put a cheap case on such a beautiful phone. Found a pink apple leather case and now she is convinced.
 
OT, where can I get a third party Lightning to headphone jack adaptor for a decent price? I only used mine once back when I got my iPhone 7 last year, but now I somehow lost it and need one again.

Hehe yeah. The sticker sticks properly though. You really need to put in some muscle to get the snap case out and it almost feels like your going to tear the leather apart. So I'm comfortable.

I paid the $89 and a colleague of mine brought it back from the US

I ordered directly from them, they shipped with FedEx. Ordered on Wednesday, arrived on Monday.

Total cost R1168.91($80.82). That was the bumper, Impact protection front and back, and some different colour buttons for the case - in case I get bored.

Just buy the Apple one, or get a bluetooth headset.
 
Got my delivery from Telkom Mobile yesterday. It would have been Monday if the idiot couriers didn't show up to a business address at 6PM. Anyway, I'm in love! Very happy with my purchase :love:
