That could just be because it’s a soft launch, the question being asked of whattwhat was do Apple now do carrier updates for unsupported networks (as shown by the 8 list of supported networks in SA), as they didn’t in the past.

So my phone is out for delivery today!!! Only problem is my cover and screen protector is only arriving 13 December so going to be a long weekend staring at the box

Just make sure the phone is on your household insurance and use it until the covers arrive. It's just a phone.

A very expensive phone (especially paying cash) but I did purchase the extra year iCare warranty tho.

But yeah will see how it goes. “Luckily” this past week been spending all day and night at hospital with fiancé as she recovers from a surgery she had so don’t really have the time to play with the phone. So more than likely everything will have arrived by the time things get back to normal.

So phone was meant to be delivered yesterday and wasn’t (they claim no one was home when there 100% was). So called them around 10pm last night and the lady there was extremely helpful and shocked that it wasn’t delivered as it came via airfreight for guaranteed next day delivery.

She gave me her personal number to call if it is not delivered by 09:30 this morning so we now wait and see.
