iPhone Battery & Home Button replacement program

I think it's more a case of Core being the Apple supplier in SA than a Cell C issue. Apple support as a whole is far better overseas.

no, cell companies order/ deal direct with apple, so Core are not involved at all.

Regardless of of who the supplier is, we as the customer should not be responsible for figuring these things out. as far as i'm concerned i bought the phone from CellC, that makes it their responsibility to liaise with Core or Apple or who ever, not me as the customer.

Not to sure if ifix will appreciate me sharing this, but they are fixing the power button issue for free until end August :D
Mine is booked in.
Now i have to work with a Lumia :-/

Hey

So how long did the repair take in the end..? Sent mine in 10 days ago, dying here without it...

Thanks

Has anyone replaced their iphone 5 battery?
Just wondering if the new battery makes a significant difference?

You guys must be really happy with Apple. It's pretty much their fault for not issuing a clear directive to their global distributors and ensuring the problem gets resolved...

iPhone 6 is here, you should be upgrading anyway :p

Have replaced it before I knew about this defect. Cost R850. Took the guy 3 mins tops to replace with original battery. Works much better now
