From what I've heard and read, Siri doesn't work properly in SA due to lack of "service providers"....not sure though...

Siri works perfectly, except for directions and searching for restaurants etc in SA... but that will work in iOS 6.

what i wanna know is whether an iPhone-specific contract is going to be launched! Because ill seriously consider changing to CellC if its reasonable... im being killed in charges with my 4S at the moment.

Probably means virgin will get it too, following the US trend.

Finally ... suggested it to the erstwhile CEO Lars Reichelt two years ago. Dude was using an iPhone. I don't know why they didn't do it much earlier. It's the best selling phone and works brilliantly on their network.
