iPhone data usage

can someone explain to me how this works

phone say - data Recieved 50mb
data Sent 8mb

total is 58mb

The bundle i bought is a 400mb bundle - after the iphone was switched on and used for a few days.
but usage on vodacom site is 119mb??? so where did the other 50 odd mb's get used?

also can someone explain this to me....why is the threshold 309???

I also had major data problems with MTN - to make sure your iphone's data usage is accurately reflected, try out Dataman on app store. This may help with better info...
