I have done a search but not had much joy. been to an iphone store in the states no luck. i have a mac and have tried the same setting but I can only send email not recieve any one with some ideas?

Somewhat vague.

Where is your mail hosted? Details double checked? (password, username,server names etc) Authentication/security settings correct? Does the address work on any other devices?

You can always try routing it via gmail to test.
