I'm looking to get a flash drive with a lightning connector for my iPhone and I wanted to know if I would be able to store my applications on it. For example can I download Clash of Clans and save it onto the flash drive so it doesn't take up space on my phone memory.

Also any recommendations of flash drives that I should buy?

The only ones I can see at Incredible Connection and Dion Wired websites are the Sandisk Ixpand ones and I don't really like how how sit after being plugged into the device.

Nope.

Only Photos.

Excellent. Wonderful flexibility from Apple again.

126GB? So is yours?

BTW I have a iPhone 6s. The Apple way or no way irks me to no end.

128... That's what I get for typing on my phone while watching Person of Interest.

Why'd you get it then?

You bought into an ecosystem that you dislike. That makes perfect sense.

Seeing what the fuss is about I guess. Not going to repost my thoughts again.

How was I meant to know without trying? Obviously I had preconceived ideas but I was constantly told as I didn't use one as my daily driver I wasn't qualified to an opinion. It seems after the fact it is still valid. One does not simply have a negative thing to say about the Apple cult.

But do you dislike the phone?

I wouldn't say that.

There is a lot to like and a lot to dislike. Pretty much like any other phone I have had. Just find it hilarious how fanboys are so quick to praise good stuff but are silent on the bad stuff or want to argue all day trying to justify something that is clearly amiss. I am sure someone will be here soon to tell me that iPhone flash drives only supporting photos is a good thing.

I left a few remarks here:

Ha ha,

"Sir, this car does not come with a built-in radio and if you want one, we don't make one"
"Ja, ja, whatever, I like the car"
.
.
.
time passes
.
"This fcking car doesn't even come with a radio - what a p.o.s"

:D

[clarification: not to be taken [-]seriously[/-] personally - just having a bit of fun]

My 2-cents – anything iOS/OSX related is almost always going to rub people up the wrong way, if they approach either of them with the expectations that it will function/do the same in the same manner as from whence they came. They are different. Many similarities, but fundamentally different.

Focusing on x/y/z that system A cannot do whereas system B could, is probably always going to result in dissatisfaction on some level. Immerse, or go back, is probably how most of those things (should/will) pan out.

Case in point – the ability to play X/Y/Z off an external plugged in >> win over having to max out the space on the device; lose over having to worry about another thing to carry around and plug in (simplicity). Each to their own. Some like simple. Some like options.
