iPhone MMS only works..

@Mole
My beef with you will stop the day you stop rushing into every iphone thread, not really saying anything, except annoying the people in there that actually have iphones. Strange how opinionated nokia owners become when the topic has actually nothing to do with them, if you don't want people to point out your short commings, stop going into threads to start trouble
Maybe he is an agent from Nokia and should be licensed (00).;)

Interesting....mine is still fine after the ipcc, did you upgrade or restore when you loaded 3.0?

First upgraded, loaded wrong ipcc and then restored(new phone installation).
Must confess this is flippen annoying and is tinting a spectacular iphone experience.

Very interesting, wonder if the MMS thing has something to do with vodacom, I remember Theron.Roland also mention yesterday that when he send an MMS it went over gprs and not 3g.

Have to say, so far, I have not had a problem, this new ipcc works like a charm (but maybe also, because with mtn, your apn for data and mms is the same)

And suddenly after many tries it went through. My 3G sign on top next to Vodacom has changed to a little blue circle though :confused:

That means it went through on gprs, I'm seriously starting to think that vodacom has a problem with its MMS'

Yip, my boss, tried to send me an MMS from his vodacom iphone two days ago, and still have not received it, seriously think its a vodacom issue

Same here. Loaded the ipcc file. Can receive MMS over GPRS but not over 3G :-( Can't send on either though...

I am on MTN & can send and recieve MMS on 3G i have even found that my my 3G signal is a full 5 bars since upgrading to OS 3.0 & applying the MTN ipcc (Tethering & MMS). I have noticed a marked drop in performance tho. I have loaded a extra 7 Gig of multi media files (movies & music) that might have a influence on the speex also. Anyway I am extremely happy with latest updated software. Now I will await the next update from Apple Corporation.

Oh my word guys - this is sooooo irritating!!!
I'm with Vodacom and did a clean restore of my phone (did not restore from a backup). Entered the MMS settings manually. Can send and receive MMS over GPRS but not over 3G :(
I had problems with the ipcc files a few days back so really don't want to go that route.
Well, guess we just gonna hang in there till Vodacom gets their side sorted (hopefully for the release of 3.1)
