iPhones with the fastest mobile broadband speeds in South Africa

Research by MyBroadband Insights has found that iPhone 16 Pro Max users enjoy the best average download speeds among South African iPhone users.

iPhone 16 Pro Max users also enjoy some of the fastest peak download speeds — although the winner in this category was the iPhone 16 Pro.

These tests are as unreliable as a politician's promise

When it comes to Wi-Fi speed, it likely boils down to the quality of the Wi-Fi hardware the phone is connected to and the users ISP.

That said, my nearly 4 year old Pixel still hits 1Gbps download speeds over WiFi.
