Hi Pitbull, we all know you work for MTN & don't have the rights to sell the iPhone with contracts in South Africa....I'm with JK8 on this one, think you're trying to help sales of the omnia & get brainwashed at MTN that the iPhone is bad. Well, actually it's surprizingly good. No, it's a great phone (and iPod). :)

Just my 2c.

I've just installed the Bloomberg app for the iPhone & it's most probably the best app ever for people playing on the stock market and forex. Bloomberg specifically created it for the iPhone.

Just for this app alone you want an iPhone.

The Bloomberg app by far is the most used app on my phone...

To be honest: The only reason I love the iPhone so much is the fact that I have sooo many applications available for it..

Bloomberg, Remote, Facebook, Translators, Dictionaries... And the list just goes on and on..... It just makes life so much more practical..

The new Google Earth is also very cool :) HP Calc (Scientific & Financial HP Calculator Emulator), Bookmarks on the home screen, Shazam, Converter, Fring, VNC, AirMouse, Virtual Pool :)..etc

I've heard a little rumour that JK8 should tell you where he works ;)

Any which way, no it's not my intention. I want to know what the people think. I'm not in the business of selling phones so that input to me would be worthless if that was the case ;) I want to have a personal opinion as to what the people think. I'm due for a contract in a few months and for me to get an Iphone is just as easy as getting an Omnia via MTN. As you mentioned everyone knows I work for MTN so what would the sales pitch be from em then

Anywhich way. The above poll indicates my thoughts exactly and I was right in backing the Omnia above the Iphone. To me it's about the support of the phone from the manufacturer. I have had my fare share of busted phones and wanted to know if it's worth the risk taking a "Cracked" Iphone not supported by the manufacturer or if I should stay with my better judgement and go for the Omnia.

That is it, no hidden agenda ;)
