Hi guys,

Just took my iPhone 4 in to have the home button looked at as it was not functioning properly (common problem i know)

Also the phone was losing netowork coverage (not antaennagate) it would not get a call, even though it was lying on the couch next to the phone that was calling it. I just wanted to check, do you think they can repair it or should i be expecting a new phone.

I know that previously they didnt like working on iPhones and would give you a replacement, is this still the case ?

Thanks

If it's still under warranty i.e. less than one year they'll give you a refurb unit, if it's out of warranty expect a quote of more than R3500 for a refurb and they also take your phone

Its still under warranty so, i should expect a refurbished on ?

Ok cool, What if mine was badly scratched (a couple of small thin scratches and 1 long fairly deep scratch on the back) would the refurb unit have scratches etc on it or should i expect one with a "clean" screen ?
