So I downloaded Kalyway and fired it up in vmware and now am still waiting for the iphone sdk to download. then I can do some damage.

why did Apple have to make it 2gig + I wonder, whats in it that is so big?

XCode, iPhone Simulator, Instruments, Documentation etc etc.

Hope it works on your version, you may need to upgrade the OS. Also I prefer native OS X over running in VMware.

Are you running on windows? let me know if it works... I wanted to play around but wasnt sure if a virtual mac would work

I used it on my hackintosh, worked like a dream. And the simulator is quite sweet.
