So, where do you go with the phone if something goes wrong with it in the future? Does MTN/Vodacom do swopouts to new handsets, do they fix it, etc. What is their policies, and experiences from people who've had the 3G etc with them?
 
Theres a 7 day return period for faulty phones. After that you have to send it in for repairs. I havnt had any problems with my iphone in the 15 months ive had it so cant comment on the repair service.
 
I had a problem on my previous iPhone 3G where the sim tray broke... VC took in the phone and 2 days later they gave me a brand new one..

The technies cant do many repairs on the phones and as such they would normally give you a new unit once they have established that the fault is not due to negligence....
