They don’t get OS updates.

But of course they get network profile (carrier) updates like any other phone on the planet, otherwise they couldn’t operate on said network.

Vodacom likely pushing eSim updates.

I really hope you are right regarding eSIM updates. I really want to get the eSIM rolling on my iPhone.
