iPhone X stock to be extremely limited

Is it always so that the first few phones of product X is always limited due to production issues?

It's to keep the fans in awe. They're easily fooled by PR (even bad) and marketing stints.
Apple pretends like there will be a shortage, then the fans think it's because it selling very good. Then the fans think, good sales, equal good product. Then the lines form in front of an Apple store.

Article 5 of 15 for 2017 on limited stock of iphones.

I'd rather call it Advertising (Marketing). They're trying to convince the SE and iPhone 7S users, who want to skip this year, to buy. The more "articles" like this hits the media, the more convinced those guys are to not skip this year.

If it came from apple sure, but I don't think mybb stands to gain from pushing Apple articles, unless they want apple to notice them and strike a deal. I think it's more resoanable to guess this is just for the clicks. #Easyclicks

Or the article is sourced from MacRumours and directly relates to things that do actually interest people currently.

Also because iSheep+iDog want to be the first on the iBlock with their new iThing...

edit : disclaimer - I'm an Android fanboy, but TBH if somebody should release something different than Android, and which I can run on my current Android hardware, then I'll go for it.
