A N/R for any reason should affect the point table, unless the plan is to replay/continue the game at a later stage, which doesn't seem to be the case here. So effectively both PBKS and DC lose out on a point

I see that difficult with reason of us not having hardly any home international cricket this season being the pitches replacing for WC 2027.
 
IPL 2025 has been suspended "with immediate effect for one week," the BCCI said in a statement on Friday afternoon. The decision was taken in the wake of the cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.

"Further updates regarding the new schedule and venues of the tournament will be announced in due course after a comprehensive assessment of the situation in consultation with relevant authorities and stakeholders
 
Is the concern stadiums could be targeted?

I don't think this conflict will be resolved in a week?

Why not adjust the tournament to play all the games in the south, and make all the remaining games at neutral venues?

Logistically a nightmare and might not favour all teams, but at least it can get going.

A drone landed inside a stadium, was in Pakistan but point stands.

Their best option would have been to.move to the uae but PSL was one step ahead.

Drone is not going to make it to the south of India?

The team most directly affected is PBKS
 
They can bring it to SA again, I wont complain lol.

But logistics much more complicated then just going to the south of india.
 
IPL looks set to return on May the 17th with the final now slated for June 3rd. Wonder what this means for Aussies and Saffers currently playing who are also meant to play in the WTC final only 8 days later, although I would think 8 days should be just enough to get them out of T20 and into test mode.

We are suppose to play a warmup vs Zim on 4 June. CSA in a difficult position because agreement with players union means they have to release players for IPL.

Aye. It is a very difficult decision to make. I would err on the side of caution and play the WTC players in the Zimbabwe match.
