Bumrah to Pietersen, 2 runs, Dropped, by de Lange but the chance was a really tough one. KP lofted a slower ball down the ground but mis-timed it. He hit it really high and de Lange had to run a long way back from mid-on, he got finger tips on it

Harbhajan Singh to Pietersen, OUT, KP's been bowled while trying to switch-hit! Harbhajan slowed it up and bowled straight. KP switched and swung too early, the ball dipped on him beat the bat and hit the stumps

The value of working together as a team. As a team they dried up his runs and probably forced him into trying something different. Big lesson in that.
 
de Lange to Karthik, OUT, When a tall fast bowler is delivering at 140 kph plus, moving across your stumps towards the off and exposing all of them while trying to scoop is probably not the best choice of shot. Karthik tried it and his middle and leg stumps took a hit

Big wicket for de Lange. It will go a long way toward offsetting his first over and dropping KP. For our Saffer lad, KP did not do too much damage after the drop.

I am sure he will be aiming to improve that if he is given the chance.

Mumbai stay alive. They have moved on to 12 points and will watch tonight's game between Kings XI and Royals with great interest. If Kings XI win, Mumbai's campaign will still have life. If Royals win, Mumbai are out.

KXIP need to throw the match against RR. They haven't managed to win against MI this IPL , and can't risk them going through?

They will still need luck to go there way to get into the play offs. Agree with you, but doubt that MI will make it through.

Yup, it is unusual to leave him out. Are they guaranteed top spot or does top spot not meaning anything in the finals?
 
Would be interested to see what the speed of ball is of Dhoni's bat :eek:
 
I love to watch him bat. Not always that orthodox but heck he knows how to brutalise balls straight over the sight screen.
