iPlayer: BBC video on demand

The BBC has this service called iPlayer, its a video on demand service that shows content from all their channel, radio and TV. So recently wii started offering this as a channel on their console.... but only to people in the UK.
I tried it from here just to see what happens, no dice.
It loads up and I can see all the content but when I try to play it I get an error, apparently they look at your IP to determine your location.

:/

So... how do I get around this ? UK proxy ? But how on a Wii ? I'm using a wireless router to connect to the internet. Its in half bridge mode and I have another wireless router that extends the network (can do ppoe connection).

Is it possible to set up a transparent proxy on your router ?
Man... I have to get this working, I can literally see the TG episodes lined up !

I got it working with a UK proxy once, but it was slow to the point of unwatchable on my 4mb line. Look for free proxy lists or a proxy site hosted in the uk that allows flash.

Does the wii not have proxy settings?
