Ipod 160g VS Touch 32g

The Touch definatley...
Besides they are discontinuing the 160GB. Hard drives are too senstitive. Drop your ipod less than a metre on a hard floor say bye bye, the Touch on the other hand can withstand it and is much thinner. Screen is much bigger and has a wider range of features...
However, if you have a large library (25GB+) get the Classic, if you have a small library (20GB + movies) the touch is preffarable

Hmmm...in that case I'll wait for something with solid state 100gb... :p

Problem is that I do have 160 gigs of just music
The blessing - or curse - of itunes are the smart playlists which mean unless you're really going to listen to all 160 gb then why not just carry what you might possibly listen to between then and when you next sync (and recharge).

That said. I think they've stopped manufacturing the 160s so you'd better hurry. :)

Does anyone know if the 32 gig unit they sell at Incredible Connection is the 2nd Generation?
What is the difference between the 2 generations?

Never mind:

The iPod touch (2nd generation) can be distinguished from previous iPod touch models by it's contoured design and oval shaped antennae cover in the back upper left corner.

I would take the touch, to me buttons are just a waste of space
