iPod adapter ?

I've got in my Volvo and the biggest issue is that you can't search or even jump letters. If you'd on 'A' and want to get to 'D', it'll more than likely take 5 minutes of pure scrolling :/

I'm just wondering what other brands are like at all?

Also - what models do you use with it? MY iPod Classic charges, but my brothers iPod Nano won't charge ...

I'm going for a service in a month - so I'll check.

The last time I checked was end of last year, and they didn't have one. My stepbrother just got his XC60 2 months ago and he also can't do it.

Get a new head unit with proper iPod controls? There's loads out there - all the big brands have them (Alpine, Kenwood, Sony, Pio etc.)

On Googling, it seems quite a few cars can't skip to letter or search though - just wanted to confirm with someone locally

Well, I know that Alpine, for example, let's you jump around your library, as well as going by first letter. You sure you're not sitting with an OEM head unit with rudimentary controls?
