Well, my 30GB iPod got stolen:mad:
So I'm getting a new iPod 80GB...
Is it going to scratch easy as the old 5G one? Is it also still a fingerprint magnet?
The front won't but will the back?
 
It's metal now so shouldn't scratch nearly as easily as the 5G version.
 
Sweet, got the 80GB a few days after the OP... Got stolen today :(
Should have listened to post no.2 :/
 
Well 1st time was at gym, left it in the bag... 2nd time I left it in my study bag, someone rummaged through it probably after they saw me retiring my iPod to it..

I blame the size and heaviness of the iPod, the next iPod is a nano, that way I won't mind keeping it in my pocket. Lugging around that heavy thing was sigh, running at gym dragged by pants down, and having a big thing in my pockets in tight pants was :/

Bags aren't safe, leaving thousands rands worth of electronics in them are a bad idea to start off with.

Did someone see you putting the iPod in your bag? It's easier to steal something if you know it's there.

But yes, theft has always been a problem, either I'm lucky, or I'm doing something right.
