iPod Nano

Does anyone have the new iPod Nano? This one --> http://www.apple.com/ipod-nano/

I'm thinking of getting it for a friend and would like some feedback about the device.
I got a budget of 1.5K + R700 gift card from the iStore, I'm unsure if I should get this or something else.

I would say rather buy a 4th generation touch. Much more functionality and im sure they are quite cheap atm

Thanks! I see the 4th gen touch is R2199, which is within my budget.

I might as well get that.
