iPod Touch 3G & Tinier Nano on Tuesday?

The 1st September is actually on Wednesday and yes, I'm looking forward to the announcements.

I'm sure Engadget will be running a live blog once again, I think it starts 19h00 local time.
 
i predict

Touch: retina display, front + back facing camera, with quality as good as iPhone.
3G capabilities might also be an option (but probably only with 2011 release).

Square Nano: don't think so. i think the square will only replace the current clickwheel. But both leans towards a totally different interface for the Nano. (This brings up many weirdnessess cause what about the Classic?!?)

The Touch traditionally gets more storage space than the iPhone. If the new Touch goes to 128 Gb, great. If it gets 256GB, the Classic is morsdood.
 
Isn't the death of the Classic a given already? I've read many statements on several sites over the last year about the fast approaching death of the Classic.
 
Some people need or want to store hundreds of gigabytes of music so the classic won't be phased out quite yet. I think next year Flash memory will finally get to those capacities.

Seems not. Apparently it remains. I think they will keep it going until the cost of flash memory makes it feasible to put 160GB flash in a Touch device. Until then the HD option is the only way to deliver capacity for people who want to store huge libraries on an iPod.
 
When they said "HD" i thought the camera is also 8mp but it's not so Epic Fail for my prediction. Again.
