How do I get my Ipod touch to connect to the internet? Is it even possible? I'm not at a wireless hotspot. The guy at computer mania said we don't use Wi-fi in south africa, while the guy at the apple store said it's not possible to connect to the internet if you're not at a hotspot.

Is it not possible to plug in a wi-fi adapter or something so I can connect to the internet on my ipod, via my pc?

EDIT: thanks for the replies, i'm sorted

If you get a WiFi adapter for your PC and connect your Touch and PC in AD-HOC mode setting up your PC with internet sharing (as your main source of internet) you should be able to go on the internet with your Touch.

We very much have WiFi in South Africa, a simple wireless router (even the ****ty ones Telkom give you) will do the trick nicely
