Hey, i don't know if this is the right spot for this thread but i need help...
I've got an Ipod 60GB with video but I can't get any videos to play with sound on my ipod...
I use Quicktime 7 to convert the files to an ipod format and then use itunes to load the movies to my ipod but i can't get any sound???
Am i doing something wrong or do i need another program to convert the movie files??

Does sound play from the converted files on the computer before you transfer it to the ipod?

yep, thas why i'm confused...
Do i need another program to convert the files..?

You're using quicktime's export with the "movie to iPod" setting?

yep, do you think somethings wrong with the ipod?
It plays doesn't have problems with playing mp3's. any other program i can use to convert the files?

THANKS!!!
I hate using quicktime..

Handbrake is also great for converting dvd's to iPod specs.

Creative Zen Vision / CZV W is a great alternative to the iPod. If you can get the 30GB Creative Zen Vision model you can play divx 4, 5 and 6, xvid, mpeg1/2/4, mjpeg and wmv files in 640by480 res (native screen res) with a superior audio quality (I no longer use my iPod to listen to music). Try it. :)

There is a a certain procedure to get vids to work on the vid iPod, well mine anyway. Download videora as ploempie said, once you have converted it add the videos in itunes. Once the vid is in iTunes right click on the video and select "convert selection for iPod", then sync iPod should work.
