So ive looked around and cant find much info about this. Would like to know if anyone here is/has used them and what your opinion is

Pretty expensive for an illegal service. Wouldn't mind feedback though.

Well shiat, what would the legal process be here, who goes to jail etc

I'm very interested in how cyber crime gets handled if that makes sense.

Like take Muscletalk.co.za for instance, the site is good faith etc but let's say some illegal shiat took place like a steroids deal via pm by users, how would that affect me as site owner?

So fcking afriad to get a knock on my door...
 
Why would anyone pay from the South African site $31 for 1 month when the international site sells for $19.99 for 1 month?

Also it's illegal and when the streams go down they are down.
Only the operators of the site will get trouble as you only streamed and not downloaded anything or shared a torrent upload.
Services like ntv at least fix their streams.

Certainly not the customers. If the service got shut down you'd simply lose access, and any credit you've accumulated on your account would be forfeited.

I don't think any website can be held responsible for user posts as long as reasonable measures are taken to avoid breaking the law. Eg. taking down download links to copyrighted material, banning users for hate speech, complying with any court orders etc. A small website would probably be expected to proactively remove offending content, but a huge website will be fine by merely reacting to valid requests.

Many registration pages have a checkbox to indicate that you've read their terms and conditions. Not sure if that actually helps from a legal standpoint, but it can't hurt.
