You would need to enable IPv6 DHCPv6 under the IPv6 setting in the router. If I'm not mistaken I have seen that setting in the router before.
What options do you have? Pass-through is only if you use this router as an extender.

Just change the slaac to DHCPv6 and then you should be sorted.

We updated the firmware that automatically enabled it on the Huawei routers.

Is the Huawei AX3 preconfigured ? Just have the configure the ppoe for OS ?
If you buy the AX3 with the fibre line it will auto configure pppoe also. IF not then you just configure pppoe and make sure IPv6 is switched on but it should be switched on by default.

Thnx, did not order with installation only ordered this week.
Okay great you might just need to setup pppoe but the AX3 has a very easy interface.
Did we double check that the router has been marked ready for processing? Sometimes the router order can get stuck if ordered separately.

You can set it to Dynamic IP DHCPv6. You do not need to dial another pppoe connection to get IPv6.
