Get rid of IQ ASAP. Absolute piece of rubbish
Iq uses ancient technology. The db it uses is terrible. Prob the worst you can get. Its POS is popular for some reason but the accounting part is terrible. Had a few clients that had endless issues. They ditched itNot true. If it was, then most of the hardware chain groups wouldn't be using it.
If you have the support agreement they should be able to assist you. Also, the reseller that sold the package to you should be able to fix whatever issues you having.
Hi there - what type of database is IQ Retail using? I know it's SQL, I can back it up, but I don't know what type it is. Is it MSSql? Would you perhaps know? ThanksIq uses ancient technology. dont mean to sound harsh but you should just tell the company that they must purchase a support contract with the vendor , and that its not your problem.Be firm and straight to the point.Iam sure you trying to help but in the end you going to cause yourself more stress etc.Hi. Could anyone advise me on how to fix the following error: "DBISAM Engine Error 12035 The table PosInfoHist is not the correct version". I do not have a support agreement with IQRetail so would have to try resolve it myself.
Holly molly... I know what you mean lol. Let me know if you'd like to look into a different POS solution with a full ERP behind it in the cloud. Perhaps we could collaborate. I'd appreciate it though if you could find out - thank you so much for your swift reply..Cant remember now but i can find out. A client is still using the Point of Sale. edit: it is dbisam

I'm working with Odoo. It has a hell of a lot of modules and it comes with a community version which can be implemented as well as an enterprise edition. it has built in POS but also modules that highlight other verticals such as pharmaceutical, educational, manufacturing, etc...My wife does acumatica implementations.
