IRC server ?

What about hosting an IRC server on MyADSL?

I saw there were a few posts about a chat facility, but a propper IRC server could generate a lot more debate and real time discussion, problem solving and information sharing which could lead to more participation and involvement, which translates into more posting. (Phew... mouth full)

Or do all MyADSL users hang out on some secret server for the super elite?...

RPM had a irc chat set up here. Maybe would be cool if we could set up a channel on one of the major ZA irc servers. Suppose it would prob end up as a FServe fest... Any ideas?

Well, I did suggest creating #myadsl on irc://irc.shadowfire.org alongside #mywireless.

I've done it anyway, feel free to join I guess.
