IRC XDCC Transfers

Hi,

Is anyone else also experiencing blistering fast DCC speeds of 0.0000000000 kB/s?

I managed a reasonable spead of 10+ kB/s this morning

Ive been trying to get mirc running thru openweb proxy. Im probably missing a really n00b thing, but could u please tell me how u got this working?

There is info for MIRC on the Openweb website:

The proxies are not 100% stable... The DO go down from time to time (my experience)

I did all that stuff, but it seems as if my DCCs are coming directly from the person send and not thru the proxy

In the "Firewall Support" combo, make sure you've got DCC selected... To see if you are using the proxy, in the DCC transfer window, before transfer starts, you should see "Connecting Firewall" or something to that effect.

Did all that, seemed like it was a dummy option in the mirc version i had. Upgraded and everything works cool now. Shot! I'd given up b4 u posted
