My little place has some irritation installed - a total of 3 popup sprinklers :)

Thing is they were old and had brittle bits that leaked, popped only half way because of lack of pressure, old plastic and probably soil inside. So I thought I'd buy new bits.

While checking I see there are a few different sizes (green being the biggest, then blue and then yellow)

Why use one over the other?
Is it as simple as green for the backbone and blue for the branches?

Nah... it will depend on what you are irrigating.

I was looking at this stuff this weekend, and the Builders Express had a nice diagram explaining it...
