Irritating Unknown calls

I keep getting a call from unknown every day around the same time. When i answer it the line goes dead. There's no heavy breathing on the other side or anything. Just dead silence. Lately i've answered the call but not said anything and the line hangs up after a 1 min then i immediately get a call on the land line. yesterday when it happened it was vodacom trying to sell me something. today the same thing happened. an immediate call on landline but it got hung up when i answered..

anyone else getting these ?

Yep, in my case it was a autodialing system.

It called me, sees there are no call centre leeches available then hangs up on me.


I eventually got a call centre punching bag on the line who took allot of abuse from me and then the autodialing stopped.

Had the same thing, automatic dialer, finally one day an MTN agent answered and I told him to GTFO and have not had a call since.

That's nothing .. I got a call from no less than probably god today.

The number showing was +271

Ahh OK.. so my assumption was correct. It is an annoying automated service...
