yet again my internet was instantly shutdown, and the one premium "support line" is engaged, there goes the last unthrottled bandwidth of the weekend, very disapointing service

They've put the phone off the hook...the queing is not even active...just a busy signal .
I always thought Axxess would be different but obviously not!

thanks for the info assagai, so my above comment redirected to IS, you suck!

it's not axxess... it's IS - openweb IS accounts are also down

Sure thing , but they don't have to bastardize their way of handling it by taking their phone off the hook.As a loyal customer(i've stuck with these guys since the dial up days) , I want to be able to get throught to tech support and hear from them
  • what's going on
  • what the expected down time is
  • etc

They should not do things the "telkom way" of treating customers with contempt. It's just unacceptable

i'm not defending them - just pointing out that it's obviously an IS problem

I perfectly understand you mate.I already knew it was an IS problem , but still think Axxess should "be there" for their customer to give information on some of the questions in my previous post.Putting their phone off the hook brings back bad memories for me(I once had an account with Sentech , you know).I get traumatized by that kind of stuff!

can a mod either delete or rename this topic to IS shutdown, thanks

I still can't connect to my Openweb IS Account.. is everyone elses back up?

My axxess account was down last night just after 23:00. I went to bed and this morning it was back up again. I have no idea how long it was off.

Seems like it's a 12 hour cycle sort of thing.

I had the most pathetic IS 5gb semi account internet access the whole weekend. Slow, Page not found errors, youtube dead and generally worse than dial up. What the hell is going on over there? The worst is that my prepaid axxess account is now also on IS so i can't even use saix as a backup. :/

EDIT: I found the "internationl" thread about this problem...Rosebank equipment failure it seems.

Phone or email them and switch the prepaid to saix.
You can switch the semi shaped as well if you want to.

I've also been having a terrible time with Openweb IS since yesterday. I can't access international sites at all.
