My MTN AnyTime 500 contract is up for renewal.

I have been looking at 8ta's rates and they have the 4s package. The monthly subscription, call & SMS costs are cheaper than MTN's AnyTime 500, and 8ta offer per second billing.

So I am seriously looking at porting over to them. Before I do I would like to find out what they network is like. 99% of my mobile phone usage is related to telephone calls.

I would be pleased to get feedback!

Thanks in advance

I tried 8ta Network for a couple of days in December and they call dropped every 20seconds not sure if it was a National problem but not good if its your first experience with a network. I tried their 3G signal in Jan and have been satisfied with their data service good constant speed in my area.

Make sure you have good signal beforehand.

Mine works like a charm (Hatfield), no disconnects, downloads of >700kb/s and very stable under high load. Using Huawei E367 modem
