Yes.

Disability is an impairment that may be cognitive, developmental, intellectual, mental, physical, sensory, or some combination of these. It substantially affects a person's life activities and may be present from birth or occur during a person's lifetime.

I have been disabled a few times in my life. I demand benefits..

Based on the article's viewpoint, it's largely a case of semantics, or how the term 'disability' is understood. I guess we tend to associate it with the term 'handicapped' or 'disadvantaged', and if thats true then I would say being single is no more a disadvantage than being married is. Both conditions have advantages and disadvantages. Soon WHO will class being married as a disability too. People go nuts over semantics sometimes...

Hell no. My life has always been far more productive and enriching on all fronts when I'm not in a relationship. It's punctuated equilibrium—periods of stagnation during relationships and then growth spurts when I'm single again. But I guess that comes with being a semi-aspergic obsessive hacker type.

No, certainly not!

Consider : the world is already very overpopulated and IVF should be carefully considered

Neither being single or being in a relationship is a disability. Life is what you make it.

True, but always have your hands ready. When you are in a relationship they can be used to wear a ring and whether you are in a relationship or single they are always handy when for when you need to ry 'n bietjie handkar.
