Is Bioplus good for you?

I took some bioplus this morning. Compared with a good multivit (or used in combination with?) do you think it has good long term effects on your system/and/or would help weightloss?

Nothing beats the lifestyle change and choices you have in food of course (already saving a shed load in money each month) and some nice exorsicm...er...size :p

But was wondering if it will have any benefit or not. I'd rather spend R350 on multivits a month than a bottle of bioplus but if it helps and gives me something without negative effects then why not?

Anyone using it?

It is not only about losing weight.

Surely you also wanna be nicely toned and firm and in good shape? No energy drink can give you that :)

It's the same as Thinz but they just put a lot of vitamins in it to make it look healthy.....

I used bioplus(effervescent) a lot :D but more like for staying up and cramming at school, tech, varsity etc. I dunno how liverton compares to bioplus liquid tho as a tonic as i never really had the liquid tonic. But i tell you this, i use liverton as a good pick up on mornings that suck as a tonic with caffiene so i'm guessing bioplus one would be the same.

Weightloss... i dunno.. maybe with being hyper you will do more and thereby loose weight? but i doubt it has an effect directly.

Get Livinton, a liver extract. It tastes horrible the first time around, but it works very well as a tonic. Just don't use it on an empty stomach otherwise you will get the jitters (light shaking of the hands).

You have a low tolerance level MyWorld :p but yah, both contain caffeine to give a kick into gear in the morning, taken on an empty stomach is not good.

Oh my goodness, stop the bus.

Bioplus & Liviton are the same. Mostly Caffeine (anhydrous) & some negligible amounts of other vitamins (no where near RDA). Read the labels.

Neither is anything like Thinz, apart from the stimulant effect. Thinz is an appetite suppressant with the active ingredient d-norpsuedoephedrine (same thing as Leanor, Slenz & Nobese). Unpopular fact: Its not healthy, but it works. You need a prescription for that now.

Now if you add Ephedrine (even pseudoeph or ephedra), Caffeine & Aspirin you get a hell of a weight loss combo known as an ECA stack. Its a thermogenic compound. You should google or wiki that. Take at your own risk. You can get products that combine them for you in one pill. Check Drumlib's website for more info.

In before the 10111 squad: Psuedoeph was never illegal in SA, in fact you could buy diet products with it over the counter until 2 years ago. You can still buy it in Flusin without a rx. It used to be illegal in the US but the court ruling was overturned a couple of years back.

By the way, there's no vitamin that can give you energy. If you take a supplement claiming to be a vit & you suddenly get a burst of energy, you have just taken a stimulant. Vits help a lot of the processes in your body work better & its gradual.

A good multivitamin like Centrum, Calcium, MSM (bio available sulphur) & a B-complex (try a hair, skin & nails formula) are excellent for women, especially if you diet a lot or workout.
