I was browsing a version history of a favourite newsreader of mine when I came across a rather interesting fix. Just thought it was funny that these guys (an international software company) made a fix for the problems that we (and we alone) have with our "crappy" IS server

The version number in question and quote is listed below (note the last line) and the link to the page is below that.

Qinglung took the lead on this one. Contacted the developer about our newserver. The developper rdl was kind enough to issue a fix for the "incomplete" file problem.

So i guess its worth anouncing it officially.

Alt.Binz now works on the crappy is news server

The develper "rdl" hangs out at #alt.binz @efnet if anyone is wondering. Perhaps we should offer him our thanks.
